In Friday’s practice we could easily see she was feeling it and was ripping the track with perfect flow and aggressiveness. It followed into the weekend races where she went 1-1 in women GP, 1-1 in Women A and 5-5 in the highly competitive schoolboy class.
She manage to pull 2 moto holeshots in the women classes. She also holeshoted the first schoolboy moto, led for a few lap but eventually went down while battling to keep the runner-up spot, remounted and finished in 5th place.
A rear flat tire in Saturday mornings qualifying practice set her back to the 17th gate pick going into the night show. Shes got a good start off the gate and was in good position to get the holeshot from the far inside gate, but tangled with 2 other riders that were coming from the outside, causing a massive pile-up and a badly damage radiator.
A DNF wasn’t the result she expected but overall she was happy with her speed shown on Friday. It may have been her last Supermini (small bike) race as we are still undecided if we are racing that class next summer.
