2014; The season has started

It's finally here, racing season has started for us in the North East, despite all the tracks still being closed in Quebec, we made the trip down to Western New-York last Sunday for the WNYracing race in Pavilion NY. We couldn't attend the Saturday practice so we left late Saturday night, got to the Hotel at around midnight and drove straight to the track at 7am. It was our first time riding the Pavilion MX track and I really wanted to ride bot the 125 and 250 in the morning practice so I could make the most of it and learn the track as much as possible in those 6 laps of practice we got. It had been a while since I rode my 125 and it felt great being back on the little 2-stroke and get some seat time on it before we head to Vegas for the National Arenacross in 3 weeks.

I was racing the Women’s, Schoolboy and I decided to ride 250 Novice so I could get the most seat time possible. I ended finishing 1st overall in Women’s and 4th in Schoolboy.

The surprise of the day was me running up front, battling for the lead on both 250 novice races and finishing 2nd Overall. I felt so good on my KTM/Duroy 250 and can't wait to race it in Quebec and Canada.

La saison de course est débutée !! Dimanche dernier nous avons fait le voyage chez nos voisins du sud pour participer à la première course de la saison de la WNYRacing dans l'ouest de l'état de New-York. N'ayant pas pu assister à la journée de pratique du samedi, j'ai décidé de courser avec mes 2 motos différentes (125 et 250) et faire 2 pratiques du matin ainsi que 3 classes au cours de la journée.  Femmes, Schoolboy et Junior 250. J'ai terminé 1ère en Femmes et 4ième en Schoolboy. Cependant, le fait saillant de la journée fut ma performance en Junior. Je me suis battue pour la première position dans les 2 courses et j’ai terminé 2ieme au combiné. J'adore rouler avec ma 250 KTM/Duroy et j'ai très hâte de pouvoir la courser sur les circuits du Québec et du Canada.
